To make your enrollment process smoother, be sure to have the following information on hand:
Social Security numbers for everyone on your plan | |
Income details (recent pay stubs, tax returns, or other proof) | |
Current health coverage information | |
Names of preferred doctors or hospitals |
Whether you enroll directly through Jefferson Health Plans, through Pennie®, Pennsylvania's official health insurance marketplace, or a broker, you need to make your initial premium payment, also called a binder payment, to activate your coverage. Learn how to make a payment.
After enrolling, you'll receive a confirmation letter, and in a few weeks you will receive your insurance card in the mail, along with more information about your benefits.
