Are You Eligible?

You may qualify for an Individual and Family Plan if:

  • • You don't have health insurance through an employer or a government program.
  • • You have recently lost health insurance coverage.
  • • You want affordable, quality coverage for yourself or your family.

You are eligible to enroll if:

  • • You are a resident of Pennsylvania.
  • • You are a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or have a lawfully present immigrant status.
  • • You are not incarcerated.
  • • You are not enrolled in Medicare Parts A or B.
When Can You Enroll?

There are two times when you can enroll in an Individual and Family Plan:

    1. Open Enrollment Period

    This fixed time period is when you can enroll in an Individual and Family Plan. Open enrollment runs from November through January.

    2. Special Enrollment Period

    Life happens. Circumstances change. If you missed Open Enrollment and recently experienced a qualifying life event, you may still be eligible for an Individual and Family Plan from Jefferson Health Plans.
