Over the Counter (OTC) Coverage

Jefferson Health Plans Medicare members enjoy a generous allowance for over-the-counter (OTC) health items each quarter. You can conveniently shop in-store, online or over the phone at a variety of participating retailers, including pharmacies and groceries, using your OTC allowance. Eligible OTC items include allergy, cold and flu and pain relief medications, foot care items, dental care items, vitamins and more!

Shopping for OTC Items

Our online OTC portal, JeffersonHealthPlans.NationsBenefits.com, has all the information about your OTC benefits in one easy place. You can: search covered items, shop online, view your available OTC balance, find preferred retailers and view your transaction history.

You can also use your OTC allowance on a wide variety of products at many stores, including large retailers and independent pharmacies including ACME, CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens and Walmart. Visit our Medicare member portal to learn more.
