Tobacco Recovery Support

Tobacco use leads to disease and disability and harms nearly every organ of the body. It can cause cancer, heart disease, stroke, lung diseases, diabetes, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This includes e-cigarettes and vaping.

Most e-cigarettes contain nicotine, which is a highly addictive substance. Vaping is unsafe and damaging to the lungs. Learn more about the risks of vaping on the CDC website.

What is Opioid Use Disorder?

Opioids are drugs doctors prescribe to help treat short-term and long-term pain. Misusing or abusing an opioid can cause serious health risks and side effects.

Opioid Use Disorder (OUD), also known as "opioid abuse", "opioid dependence", or "opioid addiction", is a chronic substance use disorder that can affect anyone regardless of race, sex, income level, or social class. Although OUD is a chronic disease, it is treatable. Learn More
